It's week three of a new interdisciplinary course at Penn State Abington, and the students and team of instructors are shifting paradigms, thinking outside of boxes, and working out of their comfort zones. A global tech firm intent on reshaping its customer engagement model wanted honest feedback and fresh ideas. So a group of QAD executives, some of whom are Penn State Abington alumni, presented the challenge for the campus' fourth international business competition.
What do you want to do when you grow up? Even as a 10-year-old, Dave Lisowski's response always revolved around music as a singer, an actor in musical theater, or a recording artist. But a course the first-year student enrolled in at Penn State Abington gives him hands-on experience in another facet of the music industry: audio engineering.
